I am writing this to warn everyone. My experience was so bad that I feel a duty to share it. Buying from GlassesUSA was the most frustrating shopping experience that I’ve had in a long time, not just in purchasing glasses but in buying any product or service. GlassesUSA will offer you no visibility into the status of your order, and their response anytime you ask will always inevitably amount to “not to worry, please allow another 1-2 business days for an update”. That update will never come, nor will the product that you paid for. This lack of transparency and constant runaround is why I had to contact their support team, hoping for a straight answer.
Customer: My order was marked as shipped three weeks ago, but both DHL and USPS confirm they never received the package. Can you please tell me where my glasses actually are?
CS Rep: I'm very sorry to hear about the trouble with your order. Could you please provide me with your order number so I can look into this for you?
Customer: It’s #G-USA12345. I’ve done this three times already. Every time I’m told to wait “another 1-2 business days for an update,” but the update never comes. I want a real answer now.
CS Rep: Thank you. I see your order details. I sincerely apologize for the delay. I will need to send a request to our Delivery team for an update. Not to worry, please allow another 1-2 business days for a response.
Customer: That is the exact same scripted line I've heard for weeks. It’s unacceptable. You’re just lying to get me off the line. If you can’t tell me where my package is right now, I want a full refund.
CS Rep: I understand your frustration. I have escalated this to our management for an urgent investigation. We can process a refund, but we do need to allow the delivery team time to confirm the package status first.
