My Online Glasses Nightmare: Weeks of Delays & Chipped Lenses! 😱
I'm here to share my terrible online shopping experience, hoping it serves as a cautionary tale for others. My order with GlassesUSA was nothing short of a nightmare. I placed my order on June 6th, paying for express shipping, and by June 19th, I still had no glasses. They kept telling me there were production problems, but it felt like they just queued me up again for another 6-day production cycle without any real urgency. Communication was abysmal; I was constantly chasing them for updates. Getting a live person on the phone was near impossible. Then, when my glasses finally arrived on June 23rd, they had two chips, one on each lens! This complete lack of quality control, coupled with the endless delays and poor communication, left me so disappointed. I felt compelled to leave a review and speak to someone about this mess because this level of service is unacceptable.

I ordered on June 6th, paid for express shipping, and received chipped glasses just yesterday after weeks of waiting and no clear updates. This is simply not what I expected. CS Rep: Thank you for confirming, and I'm truly sorry to hear about the chips on your lenses. That is definitely not our standard. I see here there were production issues causing delays, and the chipped lenses indicate a quality control oversight. Customer: So what are you going to do about it? I've already waited too long, and I don't have time to wait another 9-11 business days for a re-do, which was offered during the return process. I just want a full refund. CS Rep: I understand your time is valuable, and waiting is not ideal. We can certainly process a full refund for the damaged glasses. I can initiate that for you right away. Do you have any other questions or concerns?
The reason I left this review on the website is to hopefully prevent others from falling into the same trap of endless delays and quality issues.
